Hello everyone !

Here's my latest project: my "Japanese Alleyway" Book Nook!

Strongly inspired by the Ghibli universe, the idea was to recreate an atmosphere inspired by typical Japanese alleyways, with their traditional buildings, a river, jetties, cherry trees, etc. all entirely modeled by me and according to the image I had imagined.
It's a great decorative piece that will look wonderful in a beautiful bookshelf or on a small console table!

For lighting, the book nook has been designed to integrate a 2mm model LED system, simply powered by two AA batteries. To diffuse the light and give a soft rendering, you can use baking paper in the designated slots (it might not seem like it, but it works really well!).

Regarding assembly, normally, no glue is needed as the pieces snaps. However, if you want to secure everything, a few dabs of glue can be helpful.

The displays for the panels (signs) are provided as a file to print and glue directly onto the supports.

I hope you like this book nook! Don't hesitate to share your creations, I'd love to see them!
PS: Another big thank you to ilmanu for his help with these prints!
