Description

A 3d-printable-model of the Voros Future Cone.

The "Future Cone" by Sohail Inayatullah, also known as the "Voros Future Cone," is a concept in futures studies. The Future Cone visualizes various possibilities and probabilities for future developments, and it was developed by Dr. Peter von Stackelberg and Dr. Sohail Inayatullah.

The Future Cone consists of three main areas:

Plausible Futures: This area represents possible developments based on current trends and known facts. These are future scenarios that derive from logical conclusions drawn from the present.

Possible Futures: This area contains developments that are conceivable but not necessarily probable. These are variations that could occur if certain unforeseen events or surprises manifest.

Desirable Futures: Here, positive and desirable scenarios are depicted based on human values, ideals, and visions. These are future visions that people aspire to and wish to shape.

The Future Cone is a tool used to visualize different perspectives on the future, allowing for strategic planning and decision-making based on a broad spectrum of potential developments.

Print the stand and the cone itself and glue it together.
