Description

New helical model without supports.  (Attention the model is at the limit of the overhangs, if you want to get a better finish, you can scale in Z the model 110/120 % and ensure the inclination.)

Helicoidal eggs dispenser approx 15 units of XL size, maybe 16/18 of other sizes.

Optimized model to do it without supports and redesigned (recommended)

A model with supports is also left, but it is more difficult to print.

February 2024 - add stp  files  and add model without oval lateral    (stl and stp)

This model is designed to be stored outside the refrigerator, there is another preferable model for inside the refrigerator. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5365394

Hi... Love your designs - especially the version with the swept inner wall support. While PLA seams rigid enough to print as is, I am having challenges printing it in my heated chamber with PETG (going for a longer lasting one that holds up to kids!). In PETG, the vertical oval-ish cutouts create sections that are tall and too flimsy until they are finally joined. This is resulting in broken or messy sections... a real bummer after a long print! Would you be willing to either share the .step file or upload that version of the model but with the oval-ish cutouts removed/suppressed? Thank you for sharing this good looking and functional model!

Hello, i add files to model, Unfortunately this model is made in Powershape, a program that I don't use any more years ago, and it has some radii that I couldn't fix easily, I have left the stp of the original, as well as stl and stp with the lateral ovals changed. Actually work in fusion February 2024 - add stp files and add model without oval lateral (stl and stp)

Hi Javier, The updated model (without the vertical ovals) printed perfectly on the 1st try. I printed it in clear PETG and used your suggestion of scaling it in the vertical direction to 110%. It looks beautiful full of eggs in our kitchen and works as we hoped. Thank you very much! Great design... I highly recommend this print.

ohh, I'm glad, I made several for the family, and they also liked it very much, it is also correct to climb a little, so they roll better, I'm glad you like it. greetings.
