Description

This is phone/tablet stand that is made to look like the Bambu Lab A1 3D printer. No AMS is needed to print this model because all of the different colors in the model are separated and can be printed with different colored filaments. Some of the parts need to be glued on with super glue or 5 Minute epoxy.

Printing:

Print each raw model file once to get all the parts or follow the print profiles. If you want to change colors for the Bambu logo on the build plate, put a pause at layer 4 in Bambu Studio and change the filament at the pause. The pause in included in the print profile

Assembly:

  1. Press fit the X Axis to the main body. No glue is needed.
  2. Glue the build plate on to the main body.
  3. Glue the top grey pieces to the top of the main body.
  4. Glue the bottom grey pieces to the bottom of the main body.

Awesome print! I had some trouble with the gray corners and ended up with gray spaghetti twice. I removed the skirt and added a brim and it printed perfectly. I also used a small drill bit and hand drill to add the filament “cables”. Love how it turned out!

It looks great! Adding holes for filament is a great idea and I might add it to the design!

This might be a fun story or TMI... LOL I work at Toyota dealer as a tech, I sold my old Ender 3 pro (highly modified, so it worked great) to a co worker (Lube tech that talks a lot) he talked about 3D printing a little too much to one of the sales managers in the show room I guess.. I thought the manager might have felt left out that we have printers and he does not, so I made this for him! LOL He LOVED it! you know how those things go, they either love or hate it! Thanks for this, I have a blast with it!
