There are lots of tool holders for Makita cordless power tools that hold the tool by the battery area. If the tool has the belt clip installed it either doesn't fit or the printed holder has to use a lot of material for the extra space. This small loop fits around the belt clip on the tool and the tool hangs from it. It works on light-weight and medium-weight tools. I have 3 cordless drills and a cordless brad nailer hanging from this in my shop.

I would recommend using PETG or PLA-Tough at a minimum for strength.

I did print it with a brim because I had one of them fall over mid-print and fail. If this is not an issue for you, feel free to disable the brim. You could also reorient it to lie on its back if you don't mind a bit of sagging on the inside of the slot.
