Description

Torture heart gift box is an interesting twist on how to wrap the Valentines day gift. But due to Valentine's Day being the day of Love, I was not too aggressive with the bolts and there are only 19 of them in total.

Easy to assemble, this design consists of 4 pieces of heart fragments that go together smoothly with 4 pieces of ribbon and a bow tie for the top bolt!

Keep in mind before the assembling - while there might seem that there are identical pieces in pairs, they are different due to the bolt holes so it is important to keep in mind which piece is which!

For assembly you will want to take “Heart shape 1” and “Heart shape 2” as well as “Ribbon 1_2” and two bolts. Join the front pieces together using two middle screws but not tightened all the way - just so the two sides and the ribbon part hold together.

Once that’s done, you will want to take “Heart shape 3” and “Heart shape 4” as well as “ribbon 3_4” and two bolts to do the same as you did with the first pieces.

Once thats done, next step will be take both sets of parts that you have already put together and also take part “Ribbon 2_3” and two bolts. Once ready, put the two halves of the heart together and put the “Ribbon 2_3” where “Heart shape 2” and “Heart shape 3” connect. Put the ribbon on and both parts together with two middle bolts.

Once you have done that, put “Ribbon 1_4” on the remaining place between “Heart shape 4” and “Heart shape 1” and once again put in two middle bolts. Now you should have the box put together.

The next step is to put in the remaining bolts in the holes, and gradually tighten them a bit by bit till all the bolts are tightened.

And the final part is to put on the ribbon bow tie on the top bolt! Congratulations, you have done it!

Hi, I have added a print profile that has all the parts in 1 single 3MF file arranging them on 4 different plates - print profile name is "All parts in single 3mf". However, if you are using this print profile, you will have to switch off supports for the two plates that do not have any of the 4 heart shape corners on them. You can leave them on for all 4 plates, but that will increases the print time and material use.
