Simple safety handlebar plug for MTB.
Designed & tested for handlebars with inner diameter cca 16mm (typically the handlebar outer diameter 22.2mm).

Outer diameter of the plug is 24mm.
The pin length (inside the tube) is 15mm.

Designed and proven to be heavy duty, it can withstand very rough handling.

Mine are printed from TPU (40D of Shore scale). Any impact resistant material as PETG will do as well.

User experience: Holds nicely and tight. I've thrown the bike away in the terrain few time since the installation already (the bikers never crash, we just throw it away from time to time :D ). The plugs got some scratches, still didn't fall out and hold nicely tight in place.

Recommended printing settings

Any impact resistant material is recommended.
Mine are printed from TPU (40D of Shore scale). Some PETG will do to.

As the part is supposed to be heavy duty and impact resistant, the 100% infill is recommended.

Mine were printed with 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer high, basic settings. Any other will do too.

Installation:
Just hammer it in. It should be the tight fit.
