Description

This mid-century desk lamp requires Bambu Lab's lamp kit. The lamp is comprised of 3 parts:

  • Lamp
  • Lamp Base
  • Stand

To help conceal the cord, the stand has a built-in cord holder.

Filament Choice

Your choice of filament for the lamp is dependent of the look that you prefer. White would be the logical choice, but a light brown/tan also looks nice. Keep in mind that more light will transmit through a regular PLA versus a matte PLA. However, both can look nice.

No special settings are required.

The following filaments were used in the pictures above:

  • Bambu Lab Basic Jade White PLA
  • Bambu Lab Matte Dark Brown PLA

Works perfectly. The bambu light kit isn't very bright so it's more of an accent light than a reading lamp but this model is great. I used a semi transparent glow in the dark filament so when it's turned off it lightly glows. The kid I printed it for loves it 👍

Nice design, but when I print it a vertical line appears on the shade from top to bottom. Could this be solved maybe changing some printing parameters? Any adjustment or recomendation to solve it? Thanks so much for your help

there really isn't a way to avoid the z seam on a round object since there isn't a corner to hide it. I believe my profile puts this seam on the back side so it isn't visible from the front of the assembled lamp.
