Description

A handy tool to help with soldering, de-soldering, or other tasks where you need a steady third hand. This is a fully printable design, so no other hardware is required. The clamping mechanism can be adjusted to accommodate boards up to 20 cm in length, and can be installed facing either direction.

All STLs are oriented as they should be for optimum printing, which have been designed with the layer lines in mind to result in a strong print (and no supports or brim should be required).

good design, decided the first was too big for most of my projects (Lightsaber Internals) so I printed one at 50% scale without even touching the tolerances, works great in that size too.

Also printed at 50% scale. Top screws were very tight but work not too bad after a bit of lube and loosening. also have the towers the opposite way round to the smaller one in the picture here. It allows you to have a smaller gap for very small PCBs, otherwise the base threads touch each other and block you getting the towers closer.

Great design! Some ideas: You could expand the sistem based on same rail style with more accesories. Base rail compatible with gridfinity system

perfect build. scaled down to 75%. and printed with a .6 nozzle. little downside is that the "screws" are really tight on the gripper thread. so needed to scrape a little away. possible cause is the 0.6 nozzle
