Description

It's Summer Time!!

Fun Pool Floaty to hold your drink in the pool
Grab a cold can, drop it in, and let it float beside you while you chill
This model is completely functional and fits all standard-sized cans or smaller (330ml / 355ml / 500ml).

PRINTING RECOMMENDATIONS:

  • Supports: Yes
  • Infill: ≤10%

I recommend using lightning infill at 10%, it supports the walls while keeping it hollow enough to float

  • Walls: 2
  • Material: Any temp-resistant plastic (PLA+, PETG, ASA)

DESIGN JOURNEY:

What do we all want to do in the summer? Have a cold drink while swimming. But every floaty I found was either unstable or ugly — and none were actually made for standard cans.

So I made my own:

  • ☀️ Round float shape, like a rescue ring
  • ✅ Enough air volume to stay upright and balanced
  • 🍺 Fits tight enough to grip cans, loose enough to remove easily

My first print was too tight for fizzy cans, so I widened the cup and made the base flat for stability. Now it floats, fits, and looks summery 😎

UPDATES:

  • First STL may import too small — scale to 1000% if needed
  • Final version is ~192.5 x 192.5 x 84.9mm
  • Works with Red Bull, Coke, Pepsi, Monster, etc.
