Description

CHAIN CHOMP SUPER MARIO

  • Size : ø100mm + chain
  • Set : 1x Body, 2x Teeth, 2x Eyes, 1x Attachment, 1x Chain or 1x Chain Elements *
  • Additionally : AMS recommended
  • Version : 1.1

After 3D printing (set is divided into 5 Plates) you can assemble the chain chomp and glue the individual parts together.
Glue the teeth (Plate 2) and the eyes (Plate 3) into the recesses provided in the body (Plate 1). Then use the attachment (Plate 4) to mount and glue the chain (Plate 5) to the back of the body (Plate 1).

* = You can use the chain elements (Plate 6) instead of the entire chain (Plate 5)

supports were horrible would not come off with out damaging the print it self.

I'm sorry to hear that. I experimented a lot with the supports and this was the best result for me, as you can see in the pictures. With the settings (Support PLA), the removal was only a little challenging with the chain, but even here without destroying the printed part. Which part did you have problems with?

the supports on the chain the removal eats into the chain i done snug and auto and tree with slim not too much of a difference how well do you thjnk it would be on the overhangs just doing brimm

Please take a look at the new 3mf file. I have adjusted the supports and it worked fine for me. Nevertheless, I have added a new plate, with individual chain links (plate 6). These can be put together with the opening (see photo) and used instead of the complete chain (plate 5). I hope I was able to help you with this 🤔

Print the individual links instead of the chain, Support residue was left all over the chain But the individual pieces are perfect. This is an amazing print, my kid loves it! I highly recommend.

supports in the chains are a pita to remove and didn’t come off easy. could be something I did. other wise easy going and my son is loving it
