Other Issues:print profile results in a very visible seam up the backside of the bird.

where would you place the seam then? it needs a seam somewhere, and that’s why I’ve placed it on the backside of the model..

I would suggest random aligment so it doesn’t create a single seam

wouldn’t make sense with random on this model, I’ve only experienced that random seam alignment looks like shite.
if you calibrate you’re filament, it should not be as bad.
