Description:
This is a small shelf, but it is also a secret safe to keep your valuable belongings from easily being found when you're not home. The idea of this item is that it should be possible to mount it to the wall with just a small nail on the wall, nothing else.
It's can hold up to 3 passports or other items of similar size.
Storage volume is: 140x95x15 mm
Material:
For best look it should be printed in a matte filament, in the picture it is made with PolyTerra Cotton White PLA.
Mounting:
Use a nail with a diameter of less than 2mm, and a head larger than 3 mm.
The head of the nail should be located about 3 mm from the wall.
Place whatever object you wish to hide into the shelf, position the top large opening over the nail, and slide it down into place.
Place a lightweight print on top to display to finish the look, in this case a 150% upscaled Benchy was displayed.
If you find it difficult to balance, there is also has a spot for an additional nail underneath to keep rotation fixed.
If needed, the 2nd nail should be positioned ~40 mm below the top nail.
