I have been printing some rugged cases lately and they all call for different sized screws. The most recent one needed some 3X30MM which I did not have on hand, so I made some. These work great for 3D printed applications. They do have small threads but I have found that they work better as press-fit. When you press them into the holes, the threads fill any void and lock them in place.
The profile calls for PETG as a raft. This holds them in place nicely until you are ready to remove them from the bed. They come off cleanly with a smooth top.
I hope you all find these useful!
