Description
A coworker back in 2016 wanted replacements for a fish hook removal tool he could not find anymore. So I modeled a 3d printable replacement and printed him more than a lifetimes worth.
I hope you can find it useful.
I have included the original Solidworks version, a Step export, and two different STL versions. One has adhesion helper disks to keep the ends from wanting to warp.

When printing vertically I have the problem that the piece breaks easily. How did you solve this problem?

they print laying down. If you need you can add helper disks or a brim to hold them down. But I haven't needed it. if you run into issues slow down the speed a little.

I think it should. It might depend on the hook geometry.
