Description

An attachment for the Henry hoover (or any hoover with a 31 - 32mm diameter hose) to aid vacuum sealing your zip lock bags with filament in.

This does have limitations and isn't going to completely remove all air in the bags but it definitely removes the majority of it, if like me you use large zip lock bags then scrunching the bag up and getting the end of the nozzle under the rim of the reel definitely helps here and gives pretty good results. When used with Eryone bags that come with the filament I get even better results!

My house is quite damp being over 200 years old, so leaving the filament out in the elements is not an option so I created this little attachment to help get as much of the damp air out of the bags I use to store my filament in when it's not in use. An hour in the drier when I need to change filaments is all I need and away I go printing if the filament has been stored in this way (to be honest as I now put silica gel in the bags too I could probably just print direct from the bags.
