Description
RJ45 - ethernet connector jacket - basic
It helps by protecting the locking pin on the connectors and makes it easier to pull cables. It also helps guide the cable to bend in a smooth arc rather than a sharp angle, preventing kinking or crimping of the internal wires.
This model is based on the basic RJ45 jackets, that you can purchase anywhere:
- You WILL NEED SUPPORTS to print it.
- The “fins” on the top of the model might sag a little bit as you can see on the pictures provided.
Dont forget to slide the jackets on the UTP cable before crimping the connectors to the cable!
