I&#39;m a bit limited in horizontal space, so made a slimmer version of this design. The power cable is being bent safely.

Used #6x32 .75&#34; long screws to attach.  This profile prints the model in petg (black in my photos) and the support interface in  pla (gray) to make the supports remove very easily.  This allows a support distance of 0 with not gaps at the interface giving a nicer surface finish for the mating parts and making the hole supports easy to remove by simply poking a small screwdriver down the screw hole.  You can see in my photo the support from the screw hole was removed entirely intact.  PLA interface makes the print require the AMS and makes the print take longer but makes post processing take only a few seconds.  It also wastes 52 grams of filament to flushing and tower combined.  Note that it would be unwise reduce pla to petg flushing from the 700 value used to try to save material because even a small pla contamination of the petg will cause terrible layer adhesion even on large models.  I recommend double checking that this value has not been reduced by your slicer prior to printing.
