Important Disclaimer: This is a permanent modification to your Bambu Lab AMS and requires cutting a hole in the lid. This may void your AMS warranty.
Required Tools (Minimum):
- Saw
- Drill
- Soldering Iron
- Knife/Scalpel
Recommended for Best Quality:
- Ultrasonic knife for precise cutting of the AMS lid.
- Drill pilot holes for screws and use slow speed and drill with caution so you don't crack the plastic..
- Clean up any burrs after cutting and drilling to ensure a good, airtight connection.
Assembly Guide:
Prepare the components for assembly

Place the VREG2 USB-C power board into the DC converter bracket (tight fit)

Check board orientation, usb-c connector should not be obstructed

Thread the prepared dc power cable trough the Base Plate

Connect the JST connectors XH

Place the DC converter bracket with the VREG power board into the Base Plate

Check Orientation

Use 2 BT2x6 SHCS Self Tapping Screw (20PCS) - AA093 to secure the bracket

- Cut the Gasket Plug with a scalpel or knife along the 2 channels
Carefully push the wires trough the cuts into the holes in the Gasket Plug

Seal the base plate by slideing the Gasket Plug into its place in the Base Plate

RS2 Membrane Dehumidifier into the base plate and secure it with 2 BT2x6 SHCS Self Tapping Screw (20PCS) - AA093

Thread the power wires trough the gasket plate and connect them to the RS2 Membrane Dehumidifier.


USE the INDICATOR on the Base Plate and Dehumidifier for proper orientation. Double check the polarity as connectic the wires in reverse can and will fry your dehumidifier.- Use 6 M3x20 SHCS Machine Screw (10PCS) - AA040 to secure the Base Plate assembly to the side of the AMS with the Back Plate.
Place Wire cover over the exposed wires in the Back Plate.

- Tighten the M3X20 screws until the gasket plate is compressed for a good airtight seal.
Place protective cover on the Base Plate and secure it with 4 BT2x6 SHCS Self Tapping Screw (20PCS) - AA093 screws.
