Description

Popular HKR Foldable Spool Holder for AMS is now with bearings!

Relocating stock spool holder from back to side for better accessibility and ease of loading filament.
When the spool holder is not in use, you can fold up so it doesn't getting in your way.

Bearings further reduce friction over stock spool holder. Ideal for precise extrusion.

Snap outer bearing support in the end of stock spool holder
Insert roller in the outer bearing support. 
Supported end (rougher finish) of the roller should face AMS side of the bearing.
Followed by the inner bearing support with M3x8 screws &nuts.

5 star design, slight fitment issue with BLV - AMS riser. Great design. I really like how it uses the factory metal bracket. I printed this after using LPSH for the first time with sainsmart TPU and having issues with too much drag causing the filament to stretch and under extrude. This side spool holder spins freely and TPU feeds without issue. My one issue with this is it interferes a little with the BLV - AMS Riser but still works. I might remix to fit a little better.

looks and works great, I did struggle a bit to get one of the M3 x8 screws to go in, so I opted for a 12 instead. it’s a little long, so I would recommend using a 10 if you can.

Print profile worked great but it was missing the supports. After enabling it everything printed without problems.
