Taegeukgi Pendant Description
Hello there! 😊
This time, I created a pendant inspired by Korea’s national flag — the Taegeukgi 🇰🇷.
With a simple yet striking combination of white ⚪, black ⚫, blue 🔵, and red 🔴, each color and symbol carries deep meaning:
- ⚪ White: Represents the purity and peace of the Korean people.
- ⚫ Black Trigrams: Found in each corner, the four trigrams (☰, ☷, ☵, ☲) are based on principles from the I Ching (Book of Changes).
- ☰ Geon (Heaven): East, Father, Spring
- ☷ Gon (Earth): West, Mother, Summer
- ☵ Gam (Water): North, Son, Winter
- ☲ Ri (Fire): South, Daughter, Autumn
→ These trigrams symbolize the natural cycle and harmony of the universe 🌏
- 🔴🔵 Red & Blue Taegeuk: Represents the balance of Yin and Yang — the dual forces that give birth to all things in the universe ☯️
The Taegeukgi holds the spirit and philosophy of Korea.
