Drain extention

This is a simple tube with a step to make it fit over the intake of a shower siphon.

I cut my intake tube when I first installed the siphon, hoping it would drain the water a bit faster.

Unfortunately this resulted in sewer gases entering the bathroom after not using the shower for two days. No bueno!!

Outside diameter: 40mm

Inside diameter 36mm

Inside diameter of the step 38mm, and 7mm high.

Overall hight 27mm

I recommend using PETG or ABS since these are both water resistant.

This extension makes sure the water level is high enough to stop gases from entering the bathroom.

Feel free to adapt, adjust, resize and tinker the design to meet your need.
