Description

For me I always have issues with water dripping all over the place when my build plates are wet from washing them with dish soap and water. I also happened to not have a build plate holder yet. So I decided to combine these 2 ideas together and created this little robot head

that not only holds your build plates, but also catches the water that drips from the build plates after washing. So after washing your build plates, simply stack them in your little robot and afterward give your plants the leftover water that dripped down from your build plates.

This little robot head is able to hold up to 9 build plates (thickness up to 1.4mm) at a time and is stable enough so it won't knock over. I tried it with 6 build plates and even when I push the plates the holder does not tip over. I designed the print so that the red 'ears' print seperate from the body which means that anyone can print this in 2 colours. All you need is a little bit of super glue to glue them to the main body as you can see in the gif

This little guy should print in about 4.5 hours total and uses around 160 grams of filament!
