Description

1x2 Brick Masonry

This 1x2 Brick Masonry is meticulously optimized for 3D printing, ensuring precise dimensions and robust structure. Perfect for various building projects, it provides a sturdy and reliable base for your creations. Ideal for enthusiasts looking to expand their collection with custom pieces. Compatible with standard brick sets.

For the best bed adhesion, the use of Glue or 3D-Lac spray (or hairspray) is recommended!

Attention! Important:
A well calibrated printer is absolutely necessary for this model (This also applies to all my other Brick-Brand- compatible ones)

If you print on a Bambulab: Before printing, be sure to carry out a flow dynamics calibration for the filament used. The calculated “K value” can be conveniently saved in Bambu Studio.

Printed some with my Bambu p1s but the fit is way too loose on the 16x16 plate you also uploaded. (printed the bricks with esun pla+ and the plate with esun petg on a o.4mm nozzle).

Hi BroerWolf, Thanks for your feedback! I’ve mainly tested the plates with PLA and made the stud diameters slightly smaller to prevent excessive clamping. It seems that using PETG might result in a looser fit because of its different material properties. I’ll investigate this issue further and update you soon. I appreciate you bringing this to my attention. Thanks again for the valuable feedback!

I can also try printing it again but in PLA and see if it fits better.

I am now printing a plate in PETG to take a closer look at the issue. I'm also considering offering the plates in two versions: one "normal version" with the currently available clamping force and a second variant with a stronger clamping force. This way, users can print the corresponding test baseplates and decide for themselves which version they prefer.
