This Joy-Con grip is a significantly improved version of the data I posted on Thingiverse in September 08, 2017, adapted for the Switch 2.
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2523187

This grip features a mechanical snap-lock mechanism that secures the Joy-Con without using magnets.
I designed this grip with ergonomics and ease of use in mind, ensuring it seamlessly integrates with the new Joy-Con design for a unified feel
The assembly is simple—just snap the parts together for a secure fit.
When attaching the Joy-Con, it locks firmly with a satisfying click, ensuring a stable and secure hold.
Pressing the release button allows for easy detachment.

Printing Instructions

  • Grip body: No supports needed. Brim recommended for stability.
  • Locking bar: Since it is a thin part, applying adhesive to the bed is recommended to prevent spaghettiing.

Assembly Instructions

  1. Attach the locking bar to the upper and lower recesses on both sides of the Joy-Con 2.

  2. Slowly but firmly slide the Joy-Con 2 with the locking bar installed into the grip body until it clicks into place.

  3. Repeat the same process for the other Joy-Con 2, and you're done!

To remove, always press the release button—pulling it out by force may cause damage.

By combining it with the Switch2 Handheld Grip,
you can upgrade to the ultimate grip performance for an enhanced control experience!
