Description

Summary

I have a NES Zapper and I wanted a way to mount it onto my wall. Here is my design for it.

I think i used a .3mm layer height with a 10% cubic infill.

  • Right now, I plan to simply use command strips to mount the mount onto the wall.

In the future I do plan to make more edits to the design to allow for more area for strips or maybe screws

Printing

  • I flipped my design upside down in Cura, meaning the the bar that crosses the gap is facing upward.

  • If you look at the attached picture, you may want to change the Z axis (see image) width to a little bit shorter.

Its currently at 1.75 inches. I made it this width because my zapper has an attachment on it, which increases its overall width.

Once Completed.

  • At the bottom of the mount, there is a cutout for the cord, simply insert the cord through the big opening in the back. You should not have any issues.

ya 100% correct. i had this yrs ago and this was intended to be put on the wall and forgotten about. Maybe in the future i will redesign it to be removable once placed on the wall. Currently dont plan on it

ur correct, i designed this in 2018/2019. taking it off the wall was not something i thought of when i created it. maybe if i ever get inspiration, i will redesign it to make it easily removable. - also main reason i did not think of the possibility at the time was for me, the zapper is simply for display, i dont use my NES anyore thanks for the comment
