Description

This 3D printed version of the tank strives to replicate the authentic details in terms of appearance, including intricate undercarriage details. It features a rotatable and elevating turret, three accessible hatches, rotating wheels and tracks, as well as a suspension system with articulated movement. Through careful disassembly, arrangement of components, and the addition of auxiliary structures, all parts can be printed without the need for supports. Furthermore, the openable chassis design preserves the potential for future internal structural DIY work.

Parts count: 157

Estimated build time: 1h

Tools: CA Glue-medium, hand drill, pen knife, sand paper

Went Easter Front with mine as I didn’t have any sandy coloured material. Tracks took a couple of attempts to print without shifting on the bed but the model looks fantastic.

Use a glue stick on the bed. It will solve all of your bed adhesion problems.

Incredible model! It's exactly like a plastic model. It's actually better than a plastic model since the threads are easy to put on, and the plastic is stronger than a traditional plastic model.

I was struck by a whim to create a winter-themed paint job, and it's now become my son's toy. The moving tracks and suspension are perfect for pushing and playing with, and it has the advantage of being sturdier than a model and more refined than a toy, making it ideal for young children. The drawback is that the instructions are too simplistic, and the wheel rotation isn't quite perfect. To improve the track movement, I secured the drive wheel with screws. The German Iron Cross emblem and machine gun were printed separately and attached directly, with decent results. I'm considering adding other accessories later, such as oil drums and a tow hook.

Nice model, Printed with Prusa MK4 glay parts hard to print on 0.2 layer height, recommand it with 0.08 or slow speed some early layers. and base model has some snapfit gimmick, but 0.2 layer makes some losing detail of it. 0.2 nozzle with 0.08layer will best for this one. and assembly guide is very rough, so need to check twice before glue it.

printed these small parts with 0.08 layer height and turned out well. I had to use abs filament and Eng plate to ensure first layer adhesion. I had hard time to get pla or pla-cf to stick well on either cool plate or pei textured plate, even after washing and cleaning the plates well. Do others run into same issue as me? If so, what’s the solution you can recommend? much thanks!

never mind, raising first layer bed temp to 70 c for PEI plate seems to fix the issue for me

Beautifully created model with good tolerances and amazing detail on every single part. Its a shame that Bambu Labs instruction manual attached to it is horrendously put together. There are many many details that need to be put in that were not, such as ensuring the wheels should spin, so you need to glue it a specific way, labeling for parts, more steps, and more pictures. Will finish very shortly.
