Description

🔧 Features

  • Modular connection system – each base includes 3 sliding locks (green pins) for connecting multiple modules in various configurations.
  • Anti-pullout protection – locks are held in place by separately printed pins inserted into guides. Slight filing may be needed for optimal fit.
  • Ergonomic design – each lock has a fingernail groove to make it easier to slide out without tools.

 

🔊 Sound optimization

The button features upward-facing sound channels, since the built-in speaker is located at the bottom. This prevents the sound from being fully muffled by the surface. While slightly muted, the sound remains clear and functional.

 

🛠️ Mounting and usage

  • Two holes inside allow for wall mounting or similar.
  • It is recommended to attach rubber anti-slip pads under the base to prevent it from sliding on smooth surfaces.

 

📀 Dimensions & Compatibility

  • Button hole diameter: 88 mm – tight fit for most popular models.
  • Height: 12 mm
  • Hex width: 122 mm

 

🖨️ Print settings

  • In my opinion, 0.2 mm layer height looks really decent
  • Ironing is optional – both options look good
  • Pins can be printed more precisely or adjusted with a file
  • Material: PLA or PETG

 

🧲 What's next?

An alternative version using neodymium magnets instead of sliders is planned. If there's enough interest, it will be published.
