Description

This was a collab with Bambu Labs. I was requested to design a Mouse Top Shell part that is compatible with the Wireless Mouse Components Kit-002 that is soon to be released. I have uploaded 3MF files and stl files for the four versions visible in the images.

The Standard Version. the Batman Version, Bambu Labs Version and the Hexagon Version.

This Outer Shell Mouse design is compatible with the mouse components kit 002.

https://uk.store.bambulab.com/products/wireless-mouse-components-kit-002

Please note to print the Batman and Bambu Labs Versions, a AMS unit will be required.

If you would like to customize it, I have provided the STEP file for the standard version. Just import the STEP file into your modelling software of choice and customize away. This would also prove a great little project for those who are new to 3D modelling or would like to experiment with modelling software.

If there is a logo or something similar you want to add to the mouse, you could always try converting the image of the logo into a SVG file and importing that into the modelling software and have one emboss or subtracted from the other.

If you do customize the design, be sure to add your remix to Maker World and link it to this design. I'm looking forward to seeing how you all make this your own. :-)

If you want to stay up to date with what I am working on, please check out my instagram or Twitter.

Happy Printing

Can we no longer download step files? I can't seem to figure it out.

Seems Bambu have changed the format a but so its a little confusing now. But you can still download the STP file. Click on 'Download to Print' then 'Download STL' and then 'Download' and the STP file will be included in the downloaded zip file.

The classic one worked better than the honeycomb one. Needed to turn walls to normal, they were set to arachne

A lot more compact and easier to grip than the default model

Glad to find something less elite gamer, that I could print for an elderly co-worker.

Through the desktop on the model page click on 'Download raw model files (stl, step, etc.) then scroll down to the bottom for the step file.

I was able to see it and import it once I got on my computer. I have it in Fusion 360. I'm just unsure how to add text onto it. Can someone give me some instructions? Thanks!

Ive printed all the mouse shells available on makerworld... Yours prints the easiest and its the smallest (which is what I personally prefer!). If I could scale it all down to fit the base but make the shell shorter and have less "Palm" area, I would. but so far ill be using this at work for sure. Like I said, it fits better than the others ive tried on makerworld. Thanks much!
