A burr puzzle is an interlocking puzzle made up of notched sticks that unite to form a three-dimensional, generally symmetrical entity. These puzzles are often constructed of wood, but variations made of plastic or metal are also available. Quality burr puzzles are generally precision-made to allow for simple sliding and accurate component placement.
