After purchasing and personally using the very common Amazon electronic microscope, the link to which I leave you (MICROSCOPE LINK), I noticed how the support it was designed for (ALUMINUM SUPPORT LINK) wasn't ideal. The seat where it is locked, in fact, did not allow it to be firmly fixed, so I decided to create a bushing that would improve the grip of the two side screws and I immediately noticed the difference. With the bushing mounted, the microscope no longer gave a slippery feeling as at the beginning, indeed it was much more stable and solid, locked in its bushing. In short, a great improvement!
I personally printed it in PLA but if you need a more robust and durable piece over time you can print it in PETG (I also uploaded the PETG printable file, don't worry).
I hope it can be useful to those who have this type of microscope and want more stability when it is mounted on its support
