Description

For camping enthusiasts, here is the 3D files for my “No-Slide Awning Eyelets”.

I designed my “No-Slide Awning Eyelets” to create awning eyelet loops that don’t slide in the track after they are screwed in place.  Great of attaching light duty stuff like flags, camping string lights, light tarps, screens etc.

Just slide them in the piping track from one of the tube ends of your awning tube and secure the position with the thumb screws.

Super simple to install, just slide the male screw in the piping track and secure the position with either the eyelet screw or the thumb nut.  Several hook accessories are included in the file, just insert the hook you need before installing the nut and tight it down.

  • 2 types of thumb nuts, one with an eyelet and a plain nut
  • Several add-on Hooks : Straight, Jumper link and 90deg hook
  • Spacer washers are included if you need them (2 Styles are included)

To install the “No-Slide Awning Eyelets”, you must have a little access space to the end of the piping slots to insert the male screws (this is why I made them narrow, to fit in tight spots).  The male screws are M14, so double check the diameter of your tarp eyelets if you plan to insert them straight into the M14.

Not designed for a particular make or model of awning track, should fit common travel trailers, campers and other Overland rigs.

[ Dimensions  ]

Piping track grab : Diameter of 6.5mm

Screw diameter : M14

[ Printing ]  No supports required for printing for all the parts except for the “90deg hook”.

Due to the round shape of the “90 deg hook”, printing artefacts will be visible in the bottom portion of the “90 deg hook”.

Brim: Please note the newer version of Bambu studio V2 will automatically add a brim for the male screws.

Material: PETG worked fine for my application.
