Description

A cute little baby turtle that looks great sitting up on two legs, standing on all four, or just laying down to get some rest.

This is an easy print-in-place that has been carefully designed to require no supports, and (at just 6 cm long) it's a fun size that only requires 14 grams of filament and prints quick.

had multiple runs of between 1-3 turtles coming off the build plate. first layer seems to be slightly over-extruded but subsequent layers seem good and smooth. this is the first time I've had back-to-back runs of a model have problems ( center of front row and both sides of second row....filament in the back is leftovers from the pile of spaghetti resulting from the first run)

I'm sorry what happened to you. But the fact that your model does not hold on the mat (low temperature or greasy bed) and that you have a poorly calibrated Flow on the filament is not a bad profile that I am uploading. that's why I'm sorry that you gave it two stars.

bed at 60* C, cleaned after every run (soapy water followed by IPA) and been printing over a year, so no, it wasn't a cold or greasy bed. I specifically used filament that I've put several hundred hours into printing with (under a contract for a local business) as it was my best tuned filament. Perhaps your next argument will be "wet filament", again, no. Look, nothing personal, and maybe these settings work perfectly on your machine, but for me and my P1S, this print was unsuccessful with your settings.

So, what settings did you change to make it work?

Love how you setup these four sizes, and your prints came out so beautifully smooth! Thanks much for sharing your make here.

my kids love them. I actually have two of the large ones, it just didn't make the family photo.

I thought my wife or daughter would dig these turtles, but I think I’ve created a battle as they both are fighting over them. 1st one was on a rainbow pla and my daughter wants that color combination but It is hard to reproduce the same as the roll changes! Ncely done!
