Description

A Lazy Susan without any extra hardware. I wanted to challenge myself to make this without the need for a bearing, because we won't always have the hardware on hand or a store to buy it from. I think it turned our better than expected. Let me know of any design improvements.

Installation:

  • Print all parts. (I had trouble printing the rollers vertical, so I included two plates one vertical and one flat. If you print them flat, you will just have to shave off the flat side a little.
  • Place one end of the roller in the center hole. Rotate the roller to snap it into place. You can remove the rollers in necessary with a flat head screwdriver.
  • Place top plate on top and enjoy!
  • Add rubber or felt feet for extra stability.
  • Supports are needed.

I included 3 sizes of top plate, 6in, 8in and 10in.

Works pretty good! Not as smooth as one with a bearing but still great! I also cut the lip of the top piece so I wouldn't need supports.

Thank you for the rate. Yeah it doesn’t spin like I would like it to, but it was fun mess around with it. Maybe someday I will make a V2.
