Description

Desktop microphone stand with hidden XLR cable.

This desktop mic stand is made for wired microphones with a 5/8in-16 thread for mounting.

This prints a total of 5 pieces, and two of them should probably be customized for your needs.

  1. The top - this is where the mic mounts then the cable runs into the tube. screw the top cap onto the main body
  2. The main body - this is the tallest part and prints with threads on the bottom and the cable channel for storing extra cable.
  3. The base - this is the hollow bottom that the main body screws into. there is room for extra cable in here and also the holder for the “captive cable” port.
  4. and 5. - This part captures your cable end and makes what appears to be a pluggable port. I modeled these two pieces to fit an XLR cable and a Fethead. if you have those things you are in luck. just print this as-is.

The Fusion 360 file is attached so you can create your own captive cable part.
