Perplexus Rebel Outer Ring

The Perplexus Rebel puzzle ball required an interior repair. Therefore, the original ring had to be opened at the adhesive seam.

After hours of painstaking work, the separation could be accomplished. For ease of repair, simple separability was necessary and unavoidable. While a pleasing version could be found on Thingiverse, it had to be structurally adapted to the Rebel model.

Necessary revisions:

    Adaptations to the Rebel model (diameter, division for hemispheres, screw and nut receptacle)

    Screw nut receptacle

Additionally required:

    12 pcs. M3 x 8

    12 pcs. M3 nut

Notes:

The pins do not fit perfectly into the hemispheres, especially since they are also quite short (intentionally). The goal was that in the screwed-together state, the hemispheres cannot be rotated (this works!).
