Description

The original enclosure for filament runout sensor is "basic", too basic, the filament doesn't enter very well many times and when you use reverse bowden configuration the filament crash inside when goes backwards (when you use filament change function).

I tried to solve this using skateboard bearing (608) that allows the filament go forward and backwards.

This is a WIP project.

Printed on very well tuned Artillery Sidewinder X1. I tune the clearance for the bearing at 7.85mm to avoid you to use horizontal expansion that will ruin the clearances for the filament pass and ptfe tube.

You need to retrieve the original sensor PCB & switch, off the original enclosure, you can open the enclosure prying with caution with a screwdriver

Print on 0.15mm without supports, assemble as the pictures.
