Description

This is the third padlock I have made so far. This time I wanted to design something that doesn't exist yet. So I searched around on the internet and found these round padlocks.

Furthermore, my goal was to make the padlock as stable as possible. Okay, it's still made of plastic and you can open it easily with pliers, but it's very difficult to open with your hands.

It is important to print the padlock with good filament such as PLA plus.

Assembly:

First you have to put this small part in.

Gently move it back and forth a few times, then make sure it moves freely but has a bit of resistance. If it moves very easily or very heavily, print it slightly larger or smaller.

Then put the other part in like this.

Then push the shackle in with some pressure and set the padlock to the closed position as shown.

Then you can place the top part on top with a little pressure. If you want to be on the safe side, you can also use some glue, but be careful not to get any glue on the mechanical parts.

To open it you have to turn the key a little more than 180 degrees.
