What is the FALCON 9?
SpaceX Falcon 9 rockets are used to launch satellites, including those for the Starlink internet constellation. These launches often occur from NASA's Kennedy Space Center or Vandenberg Space Force Base. The Falcon 9's first stage booster is designed to be reusable, landing on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean after liftoff.
