My second NASA chainmail inspired bracelet. Perfect gift or handout to showcase interlocking parts in 3D printing.

One print takes only ~0.5h-1h depending on the size.

Sizes up to 218mm fit A1 Mini. To select your size, measure your wrist and select the next size up, maybe two sizes up if its close or if you prefer a loose fit. If you need a larger size, you can combine two of the shorter sizes or if you need a smaller one, let me know and I'll add it!

To open the clasp, press the two levers in and then push the two halves apart.

Print preparations:

Filament: Use dry PETG or similar tough material. PLA also works but don't expect it to last as long in rough use.

Bed adhesion: Bed adhesion is critical for this print. I use Cool plate SuperTack for PLA and PETG without issues and suggest you do too. If using PEI plates, prepare better than ever: clean with detergent and brush, use brush also when rinsing well, careful use of adhesives etc. Monitor the print and try again if at first you don't succeed. You and your printer can do it!

Removal: Detach the finished print carefully with a scraper. Don't be tempted to rip the whole thing out from its end. For SuperTack, it can help to keep the bed warm when detaching (~40'C for PLA, ~50-60'C for PETG).

Break-in: The links might be a little stuck at first. Loosen them up by moving adjacent pieces back and forth two at a time. Don't twist and bend the whole thing yet to avoid causing excess stress. Once all the links are loosened up and wiggle around freely the thing is quite flexible and the stresses distribute evenly among the links.

For AMS I encourage you to design your own patterns and do the coloring as you wish. Please post photos of your creations in the comments! :)
