Description

This model is used to mount items to you Alumacraft gunwale, instead of buying other mounts. These are also non-maring and wont damage the boat! Printing with 0.20mm layer height, 6 walls, 4 top/bottom layers and a 25% rectilinear infill. These parts are very strong and wont take long to print. They are designed to use ¼-20 UNC hex nuts, and a 2-½" hex head cap screw for clamping.

I printed these but could not understand how to fasten them to the gunwale... Maybe due to different height of the Alumatrac for different Alumacraft models? Perhaps even different width? If possible, please post a picture of one mounted to the boat. The small part fit perfectly on the bottom side of the rail for me, large part didn't really fit anywhere :) Edit: Now I understand how it is supposed to be mounted. But there is no way I could snap the top part on without braking it. I tried printing with ABS. Maybe if printed with TPU would make it fit.

this was my first time uploading and has issues on adding photos. here are more pictures of them on the gunwale. I also made a trolling motor support arm. The top portion should be instaled first from outside hook. I have made many of these just from PLA and have been holding up well, PETG is a better choice probably. hope these additional pics help. this boat is a 2013, not sure of they have changed any.

Looks great! My boat is brand new. The gunwale is probably a bit thicker now, width seems the same. So I should be able to adjust the model a bit to make it fit for me.
