Description

For the foundlings.

I've incorporated the tips and tricks of making a Mando bucket which include a place for the face shield, and you'll notice in this one that the visor is cut so that face shield is more exposed indicating that this is no mere Mandalorian, but a foundling.

The build is very basic and as others have mentioned, it makes no sense to support the inside of the helmet so I have added a support blocker there. I'd encourage printing with PLA support, but it does work with just one solid spool (Just takes some elbow grease to remove the supports).

I've picked up foam from any hardware store and cut it to comfort on the inside and applied it with some hot glue. Your foundlings will be taking oaths in no time!

The helmet printed very well! I initially thought the vertical space for the eyes were too big but it is accurate based on the television show. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a helmet for a young child.

Hello, yes this is specifically for a Child Mandalorian Helmet as per the title, not a adult Mandalorian Helmet which would constitute more narrow spaces for the eyes. I'll attach a picture to help illustrate. No worries if that was overlooked.

Turned out great in Matte Pink PLA. The daughter is happy. Now we just need a face shield

Super Druck. Der Support ging zwar nicht gerade leicht ab, aber mit ein wenig Arbeit und einer Zange hat alles gut geklappt.

No issues, printed fine with bambu basic pla. Bit of sanding need following the support removal but nothing mad.

please keep in mind this is intended for a foundling/child. Given the nature of heads and the different sizes that children’s heads can be, please adjust the overall size as needed. its certainly not intended to know exactly what size may be required for your foundling.

5% limo tint from Amazon. I should probably make a template to cut it out from and post that as well.
