Description
Attention: V2 released!

Better thread, nicer casing:
We had bought this powdered sugar, and my first thought was, why not reuse the sifting device and design the tin so that it becomes refillable
No sooner said than done: I designed a screw-top tin that fits the sifting device of the pictured powdered sugar
Important for assembly:
I placed the original tin in water to soften the cardboard until the plastic part could be detached
Any glue residue I left on the plastic part
Print this model and then press / glue the original sifting device into the lid of the tin
Warning: Since I made the model from PETG-HF (food-safe), the tin's thread might need to be screwed open and closed a few times until it runs smoothly! The tolerances are very tight so that the powdered sugar doesn't come out of the wrong place…;-)
Unscrewing it for the first time was really stiff
Please apply both care and force, otherwise you will ruin the thread
After making the thread run smoothly, you should check for any plastic abrasion and remove it
After that, the tin can be filled with powdered sugar or baking cocoa to refine dishes
Have fun recreating it! Produce less waste
I would greatly appreciate a like, comment, or a boost if it worked and was helpful
