🔧 Preparing the dividers
Lightly sand the top of the dividers; this will help the lid slide smoothly.
Take the opportunity to slightly bevel the corners where your fingers will go—a small chamfer is enough to prevent them from feeling sharp.
🧩 Assembly
Begin by fitting the central divider into the base of the box.
⚠️ Caution: fragile part!
Align the two parts carefully, and begin fitting them together gently.
Then, place a flat piece of wood on the divider (to distribute the pressure) and gently press or tap to fully seat it without applying direct force.
Once this is in place, you can assemble the rest of the box in any order.
Finally, glue the side dividers to the sides with two small dabs of glue each; there’s no need to use excessive glue.
