The print is great but it needs a catch/lip to hold from falling off. I can't hold portable screen let alone a laptop without it falling off!

Attempted to use a scaled model of this for a keyboard and found the parts do not fit together or retain strength at a smaller scale. Not sure if the original would hold much weight either. Does anyone have a weight rating for a PLA print at full scale?

Thanks for commenting. I did not print a scaled version myself. I use the original model for the 2021 14´ MacBookPro. It fits fine and has enough strength. Even long term loading seems to be no problem! Did you try again?

Love the design, but i noticed on Layer 1 not all of the little fins inside on Part2 actually make contact to the build plate. This meant my first print failed for these and I'm going to change this myself. Also the fins look like they are all different lengths.

I'm very happy that you like the design, and thank you very much for your feedback. You are indeed right. The fins are not the same length. Apparently not all edges were selected when using the chamfer tool. I corrected this. After I selected the "detect thin walls" option in the Bambu Slicer, all the fins are now in contact with the build plate. I have already updated the existing print profile and the STL file. Greetings!
