Description

*This project requires one 608 bearing*

There is a printable spring that adds a slight clicking sound when the carousel is spun. This is recommended, but optional.

As with any assembly that prints in multiple pieces and/or uses other components, actual clearances will be dependent on YOUR printer.

Print Settings

The Nintendo Switch logo in the middle of the carousel is designed to give you two options:

  • If you have an AMS, MMU or similar product, the logo can be easily painted in the slicer
  • If you do not paint it in the slicer, the logo will not appear at all

Assembly Instructions

  1. Insert a 608 bearing into the center of the base
  2. If you are using a spring, use a very small amount of glue to secure it into the hole as shown below
  3. Place the carousel on top of the base, ensuring that the gear tip drops into the center of the bearing

Perfect! Thank you so much for the wonderful model! PS I made some modifications for those who are not equipped with AMS, I recreated the logo and created the carving to glue it, if someone needs it I will send the profile with the two pieces separated.

came out great following the designer default settings. I did assemble a logo onto the model to give to my niece.

hey, I did this a while ago but I'm pretty sure I used bambu image to keychain https://makerworld.com/en/makerlab?from=navbar to get the logo I wanted then I just stacked them on top of each other in bambu slicer and merged them

This is cool! I really like how clean this is and it’s very fun and functional as well. The only thing I added was a countersunk screw to keep the two sections locked together only because my kids are a couple of bulls in a fine china shoppe. Thanks

can you share how you added a screw without effecting the carousel effect?

Sure, I drilled a small countersunk hole just big enough for the screw in the bottom plate. I made sure it was centered in the hole where the bearing sits. Then I put the top and bottom pieces together and drilled a small pilot hole in the center of the post and inserted the screw. Just be careful not to strip the screw you just need to get it finger tight so it stays snug in the post but still allows the top to spin. The smaller the pilot hole the better so the screw has something to bite and hold onto.

I like the sliding design. Thanks you so much for sharing. the little clicker thing on the bottom doesn’t really work for me. it rarely clicks. also I would love to see if there can be a locking mechanism for the card and the assembly as a whole.
