This was made on Fusion 360 and is my third design in total. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
I work at a school district that has many of these deployed and if you are reading this...you may know they are prone to breaking at the eyelets. Rather than wait however long to get new ones i decided to make them.
I found good results printed in ABS with 3 of each top, bottom, and perimeter layers and 30% infill at .1 layer height. Im using simplify3d as my slicer and when looking at the perimeter wall changes you definitely want 3 (see pics) after all im trying to make the weak point as strong as possible
When printing make sure to print with the spike side facing up. I added a +2MM offset on the Z for a solid support structure buffer and 3 dense support structure layers (S3D)
The part that hits your supports may be a bit rough to your liking but you can always acetone smooth it (or clear-coat it with rustoleum and sand it for PLA)
I hope this finds whoever is looking for it!!!
