Description

I converted this excellent Dodge Charger model into a Polk County FL sheriff's car. No painting is required, all artwork is done as separate stls. To remove “Polk County” simply make it the same color as the body. The windows and tires can be printed separately to reduce the supports required and to limit color changes. Or, the whole model can be printed at once by dragging all the stl's onto the plate at once. I printed at 200% in PLA, 5% infill.

I have included a .3mf for Bambu Studio for my pre-configured settings, as well as all the stl's in folders.

turned out good. but could use some tweeking. the back bumper could use a little support. The infill was really bad and pretty much none existent because it skipped and had no layer adhesion. could use more top layers as you can see through spots on the hood and roof but overall a good model in the end.

Your print looks great. Thanks very much for the constructive feedback. Based on your feedback, I have implemented your suggestions into my profile by increasing infill and top layers and adding supports for the rear bumper. I also rotated the model 45 deg so it does not interfere with the prime/calibration lines.

Awesome! These improvements will make it much better although I think gyroid infill would be better in my opinion. The grid infill skips and doesn't form a solid infill line. Thank you for the great model. I'm from Polk County Minnesota so this was a great model to print.

The part I had issues with and had to start the print over several times was on the under side of the bumper actually. it had issues making that bridge and then the nozzle would catch on that part and pull it back.

Lol. You could make "Polk County" the same color as the body, then add "Pasco County" as a text object in the slicer. That reverse italic font is a pain though.
