COMPLETE
Final version of the model has been uploaded. Zer0_Sword_Final. I've shortened the blade slightly from the original design, and added some offsets for easier assembly.
There is a wled controller and an 18650 battery shield in the handle to allow for quickly swapping out batteries to keep this running for multiple hours.
It's a bit of a tight fit, so highly recommend using very slim usb-c cables to connect the battery shield to the wled controller. The handle is held together with 2 screws that you'll need to use heat inserts for on the handle_base component. I also used just a black rubber band around the middle grooves to keep everything nice and tight on the handle.
The spine has a 5mm hole hollowed out along the length to run either a wooden dowel rod or (in my case) a metal 5mm rod through. If you have trouble getting the rod to run through the hole you can lightly heat it to have it fit more snug.
Of course since this prop is going to be used at dragon con, we had to make it sound reactive.
