Description

A display cover for the A1 which includes a holder for tools.

There are 4 options available:

  • 0.3 or 0.5mm tolerance (for tighter or looser fit)
  • face down or face up (for more strength or better looks)

When in doubt choose 0.5mm tolerance and face down.

The tools from left to right:

  1. Bambu Scraper Grip
  2. Some ordinary flush cutter
  3. Deburring tool (with a diameter of ~14mm)

I've decided to use PETG for this since it's right next to the hot plate, and because of having to bend the lower part with the clip a little bit.

Let me know how I can improve things!

really creative use for the deburrer slot! Let me know if PLA has any problems. I've printed it in petg since it's next to the heatbed and I was worried that it might deform.

No problems with the print, it would not allow me to give you 5 stars.

PETG, 0.2mm tolerance (deprecated)
not sure if this model was accounted for other people using different filament but unfortunately it doesn't fit my screen the little clip on the bottom snapped off when trying to put it on due to the model just being too small and none of my filament clippers if it in that slot that fits yours as well.

thanks for your comment! I used Bambus petg, and that was a little flimsy as well, especially because of the print orientation. If you want a stronger clip, you'd need to print the screen down, but that causes ugly layer lines where to tools are. I can try to make the connection bigger though. I've made the tolerance extra tight because I wanted an extra tight fit, but you're right, that won't fit everybody with different types of filament. I'll add some more print profiles with more tolerances and different print orientations :)
